Little Companions recently visited Tranquility Rescue Centre where we sponsored the summer cuts for their 4 little ones. They absolutely loved being pampered and now have a new lease on life! The big ones were desperate to get in on the attention as well!
Tranquility Rescue Centre started unofficially in 2007. They are a privately run centre specialising in rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of domestic animals, from birds to cats, dogs, goats, pigs, sheep, donkeys, horses. They do not keep them in cages, they live in a family unit. On rescue they take them for vet checks, de-worm, vaccinate and sterilise where necessary; rehabilitate and work with them to find accurate match ups in their new homes, and re-home once a suitable family is found. Animals with ongoing issues are not re-homed, but live out their days without pressure and offer equine therapy to those in need.
Visitors are encouraged to come and meet the animals, or just spend time in their company and learn more about each breed or species.
